MPR worked across a range of George Weston Foods’ (GWF) subsidiary companies, including some of Australia’s best known brands Tip Top, Top Taste and Don Smallgoods.
MPR helped GWF navigate through a number of critical issues, including the discovery of razor blades in Top Taste cakes, the mandatory addition of folate to commercially produced bread and baking flour, and a number of mergers and acquisitions and factory closures.
One highlight was our role in securing Prime Minister John Howard to officially open the new Tip Top bakery in Western Sydney and assisting the company with event management and media relations to support the successful event.

“MPR has consistently provided George Weston Foods with successful media relations campaigns across a range of divisions including Baking, Meat and Dairy, Weston Cereal Industries and Cereform; as well as specific projects involving our parent company Associated British Foods.
MPR has generated positive media coverage as well as contained potentially negative press for our company. They are able to achieve this due to their in-depth knowledge of the media and their ability to consistently provide concise and strategic issues management advice.”
